A New Chapter: Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Collaboration
Within the last couple of years, CPFM has making the headlines for her recent collaboration with Nike. It all began with the CPFM Flea 1. Although this pair never saw the day of light as a release, there were pairs circulating around being criticized for the it's sizing issue. Due to that problem in itself, the pair was never released, but its successor, the CPFM Flea 1 Overgrown aka the Grinch took the internet a blaze. It was the talk of everyone's lips for it's polarizing looks, how the pair would compare in sizing from it's predecessor, and all the different ways to cut and customize the pair. But then things got even crazier with two colorways of the CPFM Nike Flea 2 in the Black and Alabaster, and Spruce colorway. Well, it's been a while since we've seen Cactus Plant Flea Market team up with Nike for the Air Force 1 Low, but the wait is finally over.
All the Unveilings of the CPFM AF1 by artists creating speculation
Recently revealed on ASAP Bari's Instagram are previously unseen purple and green iterations of the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Force 1 collaboration. Among the lucky recipients of these exclusive pairs is Big Sean, who unexpectedly received Frank Ocean's personal editions. Not stopping there, Big Sean also acquired the original black and white pairs from 2020. Adding to the excitement, Lil Yachty not only received all four colorways but also a one-of-a-kind green pony hair pair, specially crafted for him as a "friends and family" edition. His personalized touch can be spotted with his nickname Lil Boat etched into the dubrae.
Signature Style Evolution
Taking cues from the 2020 releases, these new pairs feature Air More Uptempo-inspired design elements, notably oversized "AIR" overlay panels on the upper. Both colorways maintain a seamless tonal scheme, showcasing vibrant green and purple hues throughout. Beyond the Air Force 1, Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike have ventured into collaborative efforts with the Blazer Mid and the Air VaporMax. Their most recent project, the Flea 2, made its debut late last year in two striking colorways.
Release Details Unveiled
Priced at $150 per pair, these will release via raffle on the cactusplantfleamarket website. While anticipation mounts, there's no word yet on a wider release or potential restocks of the original black and white iterations.
