BAPE x UNION LA reunited for another collaboration
BAPE's and UNION LA celebrating the 30th anniversary for the Japenese streetwear brand
BAPE, is the ultimate trailblazing Japanese streetwear brand throughout the decades and still shows no signs of slowing down as it marks its 30th anniversary. Following the recent launch of a fully-functional Canada Goose capsule collection, BAPE is now teaming up with another street fashion heavyweight, UNION LA, for an exciting collaborative capsule.
A Continued Partnership: UNION LA and BAPE's Second Collection
The collaboration between UNION LA and BAPE first emerged in 2021, commemorating UNION's 30th anniversary. Now, the dynamic duo is back for their second collection in reverse fashion to celebrate BAPE's 30th anniversary. This partnership seamlessly blends the distinctive design worlds and ethos of both brands; almost as if the two brands were made for each other. The line of apparel presents a fresh and clean range of clothing from vintage faded t-shirts to coach jackets.
Iconic Logos Merge: APE HEAD meets FRONTMAN
In this latest collaboration, the apparel proudly showcases the logos of both brands side by side. The infamous "APE HEAD" from BAPE and UNION's signature "FRONTMAN" graphic come together, creating a visually impactful fusion. There are two versions of the t shirts both in black and cream. The first set of t-shirts feature the APE HEAD logo with the UNION halo above the head, while the back features the UNION FRONTMAN with the BAPESTA star logo. The next of t-shirts have the UNION branding with the BAPESTA star on the front and on the back is the famous line "Ape shall never kill ape." The collection highlights a standout piece – a coach jacket featuring an oversized, co-branded logo on the back. There is an olive and black coach jacket that feature the BAPESTA star logo on the left chest area with the UNION branding. On the back of the jacket features the UNION and BAPE branding with the APE HEAD and Union Halo. Underneath the logos sits the quote, "Ape shall never kill ape."
