Jordan's retailing for $1500?
Starting in the summer of 2023 you can get yourself a pair of Jordan 1 High 85's for a retail price $1500. That is right, you read that correctly. Now why would Jordan Brand be doing such a thing? I mean they already have collaborated with luxury brands such as Dior and Louis Vuitton. So what's the catch this time? Are they tired of sharing the profits with brands they collaborated with? The rumor is that the proceeds will potentially be going to the Jordan Wings For The Future Foundation. This program benefits underprivileged youth with scholarships to provide opportunities that they would never be able to have.
Jordan Brand plans to release 2 Jordan 1 High 85's that will retail for $1500 and 3 Jordan 1 Low 85s that retail for $1300. The pairs will obviously be dressed in high quality materials as well as a special packaging.

Back in May of 2015 Jordan Brand dropped the Pinnacle pack which for the first time featured premium materials. The retail price of the Jordan 1 Pinnacle was $400 however at the time of the release it was not well received as the shoes sat. Of course the desire and price of the Pinnacle increased over time after the Last Dance Documentary but due to the high retail price that consumers are not willing to pay, will the Jordan 1 High 85 and Lows receive the same treatment?
