New Yeezy Slides and Foam RNNRS Releasing March 7th
Adidas and Ye's Latest Collaboration
Adidas and Ye team up once again, this time unveiling new Yeezy Slides and Foam Rnnrs. However, Ye took to social media to express his frustration regarding Adidas' upcoming plans. Ye was upset when Adidas released the Adidas 350 V2 Steel Grey on February 29th, as this colorway and design were allegedly not approved by Ye. He claimed that these were counterfeit Yeezys and that Adidas was planning to sue him for $250 million. Furthermore, Ye stated that he wouldn't receive any proceeds from the remaining Yeezys Adidas plans to sell in 2024.
Ye voiced his dissatisfaction on social media regarding Adidas' rollout of the new Yeezy 350 V2 Steel Grey. He stated, "Anybody who loves Ye would not buy these fake Yeezys. I never made these colorways. I’m not getting paid off of them, and Adidas is suing me." He criticized the non-approved 350s, labeling them as "corny." Ye expressed frustration over Adidas releasing unauthorized colorways while also suing him for a significant sum and not compensating him for the shoes bearing his name.

Yeezy Slide Dark Onyx
The first new colorway, the Yeezy Slide Dark Onyx, although resembling previous Onyx, Slate Gray, and Slate Gray iterations, appears to be a lighter shade. Despite official images not accurately depicting the color, it seems to be a lighter version of the Slate Gray. Available in full family sizes, the men's pair will retail for $70 USD, kids for $50 USD, and infants for $40 USD.

Yeezy Foam RNNR Onyx Restock
The next release is a restock of the previously released Yeezy Foam Rnnr Onyx, initially launched on June 8th, 2022. Adidas often restocks previous colorways, and the Yeezy Foam Rnnr Onyx is returning in a full family size run. Priced at $90 for men, $65 for kids, and $45 for infants, it will be available on the Adidas CONFIRMED app on March 7th.

Release Details and Fan Loyalty
Both the Adidas Yeezy Slide Dark Onyx and the Foam Rnnr Onyx will release on the Adidas CONFIRMED app, with a temporary charge for draw entries. Ye challenged his loyal fans to refrain from purchasing the new Yeezys released by Adidas, urging them to stand by him. Despite this, the Adidas Yeezy 350 V2 Steel Grey remains available in a full size run on the CONFIRMED app. The relationship between Adidas and Ye has been complex, with Adidas struggling to make clear decisions about their remaining Yeezys since their partnership ended in October 2022.

Speculations on Pricing and Future Releases
Adidas still has $500 million worth of Yeezys in stock, leading to uncertainty about pricing and future releases. While Adidas mentioned selling future Yeezys at or below retail price, this hasn't been implemented yet. With the Adidas 350 V2 Steel Grey priced at $230, the Foam Rnnrs at $90, and the Slides at $70, it remains unclear whether loyal fans will support the new releases. Will you be among those opting for the new Yeezy Slide and Foam Rnnr?
